Man sorry to see that
I gotta replace my rims too I think, hit quite a few potholes that appeared out of nowhere, none too fast, thankfully, but now once I reach 130km/h there's a distinct vibration going through the car Oh well... Guess I'll keep these for show and get some 16" for go!

dang sorry about the rim...
ive hit a couple pot holes that have made me crindge right after, luckily no bends and no blown tires.....maybe being on the lower series tire makes it sound worse then it actually is....

That sucks... Bending rims is one of the risks that is greatly increased with low-profile tires... Good thing they were cheap wheels though.
I've personally never bent a rim, but up until now I've only owned old Mopars and trucks... Never ridden with wheels larger than 16"... On my truck I have 285/75 tires, on 16" wheels they make it pretty hard to bend a rim...

sounds MUCH worse...although I've hit some wicked stuff and even have a slight bend in the passenger front rim (well, rotated now, I guess I'll have to find it again lol)... they have held up fine thus far. I'd say any rim was done for in this situation, but a more typical/heavier rim probably wouldn't have bent THAT much. I'm very surprised it didnt just snap. |

speed bumps
well im thinking about getting the 15" konig heliums, and yesterday i went to the mall and i was leaving, it was dark and i was going at a good speed when all i fell is a big punch, i had just gone over a speed bump, but i could not see it, should i be worried about the heliums cracking or bending whenever i go over a speed bump and cant see it just feel it
