ok i can't tell you who make the rods, but they are not a reputable company in the USA, which i guess what everyone wants.
This company was the one i was talking about that order the rods from the same place http://www.intengineering.com Would it be of any benefit if i tested these out and showed people they were worthy? I am sure any scion person building a turboed engine would glady accept a set for free if they can prove they work well... I honestly don't mind |

If a company wants to make a splash in any market, they should trade a part for some info. Period. Serves both parties better. Hit them up and plead your case, get some free crap, test it, and we'll go from there.

You don't have to tell anyone the name of the company. You can have it made and put your name on the rods. Have someone with a solid reputation use your rods and use the testimonial to establish yourself.
Go for it! |

Nexus,
Will there be a warranty on the rods you are providing?

Kind of off topic but since we are talking about building the bottom end. Has anyone gone to the extent of sleeving their block? I want to see a 350 HP 1nz

I have some sad news and i will message you more info about it later on when i get home on the full story jkuchta, but even though the 1NZ-FE is used in alot of JDM cars, they said the support for them out there is really low and they do not provide the rods.
They said that they can take measurements and make a sample and if the market is prospect they will see what they can do for me after the fact. But currently I can find someone who can take some measurements of the stock ones so all i would need is a stock rod if anyone has one or knows where to get one. I really don't want to end up buying a whole short block just to get a set. |

What price range do you want on aftermarket rods?
