Cosmetic, it might also save the bottom of your bumper if you bottom out.

I just used double sided tape similar from what the OP used and it is pretty stable. Been driving 60-80 on the freeway and it is still there. I also tested it by pulling the rubber and tape is holding it strong.

If you use similar stuff like I did then you should be fine. I haven't used any screws and mine has stayed on for a long time. I've gone up to about 80, and even been in the rain and it's still there. |

Just a note guys. The garage seal posted by our Canadian members is made by "Tago" and carried by the Home Depot's of Canada. The majority (99%) of the US HD's carry that made by "Frost King" and it looks different. It appears to me that the seal used in V2 by Mr White HB is branded "MD" and carried by Lowes where I found it today. It is a harder rubber so I see it maintaining its shape and strength over the "Frost King" stuff from The Home Depot.
Just a heads up that if you want yours to look like what you see here and on other forums and you check it out like I did, be sure to get the right stuff. Me, I like version 2 so I got the MD stuff at Lowes. Now all I gotta do is figure out which way to flip it upside down.....lol. Last edited by Klink10; 10-15-2011 at 01:54 PM. |

That looks pretty awesome, I've already ripped the factory air dam off of mine twice though, so I guess I'll have to leave this one to you guys that have decent roads :P
