Hehe..no prob man! I'll probably get started on the repairs by this weekend if not sooner. I'll try and take some pics along the way. Hopefully I'll have some nice "before" and "after" pics!

Fellas...I need to know if Quixx works. I just got keyed and not spending 900 dollars for a paint job.

I checked Walmart but found nothing. I checked online a few minutes ago and found that another CT in my area has stock. I'll be making a pit stop after work.

FINALLY found Quixx at my local Canadian Tire yesterday and picked it up at $19.99 +tax. The box is much smaller than I expected, so I'll be sure to use this stuff sparingly.
I haven't used the product just yet. I may need to re-apply another coat of clear over the scratch since I can still feel the scratch with my fingernail. Before and after pics soon to come! |

Im curious to see how it goes. Someone keyed the girlfriends car on the drivers side door and our scratch looks similar.

Don't these losers have anything better to do than go around keying peoples cars??? No respect for other people's property!

I finally got a chance to repair the scratch (to the best of my ability) with Quixx this weekend. Here are the before and after pics:
As you can see the repair is still somewhat visible. Reason being I used a little too much touch up paint. The paint should be applied just enough to fill in the scratch. This is where I went wrong BUT, it is a lot less noticable. Thanks to everyone who posted their ideas! |

Hey Kev. I did sand it down as much as possible with the 3000 grit sandpaper which came with the kit, but I really didn't want to risk removing any clear coat from the surrounding areas. So for the rest of you, remember, go easy on the touch up paint for best results.

For the price, I couldn't be happier!
$37.95 tax included for the touch up paint and Quixx combined! And the stealership was asking over $500!! |
