I think it needs some black wheels and racing stripes now.

I had always thought of the yaris' styling as "the bastard child of a mouse and a bull dog" but in yellow, it definitely takes on more of an avian edge. I think it looks more like a black and yellow chickadee.

I digress, though.

It looks nice. I was never into yellow cars, I thought that yellow mustangs and such were too "look at me!" Later, I realized that it was the personality that gravitated toward such vehicles that I generally wasn't too fond of, and the yellow ones were usually occupied by the more attention-seeking segment of that crowd. But on a low-key car, it seems to fit. Now if they would just give us "ash gray" or whatever.

looks great! i drive by a toyota dealership everyday and noticed a yellow liftback on the lot last night for the first time(they put them up front now and the suv/trucks in the back because that's whats selling!). it looked pretty good from a distance and really 'popped'. i'm guessing it will be sold by weeks end! congrats!

creamy!

I agree with the above posters, stock, it's so-so... but with the right choice of wheels....

Similar story with the weird light bronze-orange color we get here, I hate it, but I saw one a few weeks ago on bronze wheels, it was pretty hot!

Even before seeing the above pictures I was already thinking of black/gunmetal wheels, blacked out lights, CF hood and hatch. The yellow by itself...eh, but the yellow and black combo would be excellent.

Yellow is a dope color for the car. Just add black tint, paint the emblems, mirrors, door handles and the hubcaps black. Before you know it, your ride will be pimped out on a budget.

Congrats on the new whip. I actually pass a Toyota dealership every day on the way to my office and they have an 09 hatch sitting out front. It certainly has a washed out look which is a shame since the website shows a more vibrant yella. Anywho, tint it, drop it and floor it!
