base model, radio delete ect. I purchased my sedan a few years ago when they first came out with the 07 model. after fees, tags, and loan costs I was still under 12k.

mine is a base, manual transmission w/ a B package (power mirrors, rear wiper, 4 speaker stereo, and rear mudflaps). no a/c, no pL, no pW, no abs, no tpms, no 60/40.....pretty bare bones except what came in the B package (though i had a cd/mp3 OEM HU, block heater, window visors, and all season mats thrown in my my purchase)

mine was 14500CAD +/- +tax, fees, etc

It's extremely hard to find a real base model (without at least the convenience package). I looked at hundreds of Yaris's before my purchase and none were base (which doesn't even have a radio). How can anyone possibly drive a car without a radio!?!?

From my observation, the two most commonly equipped models were automatic with convenience package, and auto with power package. These two seem to make up 90% of all Yaris's in dealer stock. The other 10% is made up of 5-speed combos and/or "S" packages.

Mine is an S sedan 5-speed with convenience pack. "S" models are all very rare. I have yet to ever see one at a dealer aside from the used one I bought.

$13734. out the door. Base LB grey with convenience pkg., cold weather pkg., floor mats and rear cargo mat, sales tax (6%), dealer documentation fee, and registration/plates. In CT. around the beginning of December. cash with no trade in. I probably could have dickered but wtf, it's just fine. Although the clutch and fly by wire throttle take a while to learn. Basically MSRP minus $1000 rebate and $350 discount. Mark S.

we got the '08 base liftback with manual last NOVEMBER for $10,650 . The window sticker was $12,850 . There was a $1000 dealer discount and and a $1,200 trade for a 2000 Chevy Prizm ( Corolla ) that had 90 thousand plus miles along with dents up drivers side from a deer collision . We were offered 0 dollars for the PRIZM before the accident by other TOYOTA dealers . So , we couldn't turn it down . The YARIS at that period of time was a slow mover , sure that helped too .

No "bare bones" here (have to get radio, a/c, convenience and all-weather guard packages and, oh yeah, $150 floor mats), but did get a new '08 automatic w/o the power package... $13,700 out the door including all tax and license...

Out-the-door for a new (no mileage) '08 for $14,700, so I'm not complaining; automatic and the color and trim I wanted. But could live without the MP3 player and floor mats.
Ouch!
Got the same color/car as you WITH power and the A/T for $14,160...

my 2009 sedan was MSRP at 14,745 or something, but got it down to $13,000. this is without the power package, but it does have the convenience package and all weather package, which includes a radio and AC, full heater with defroster, 15" steel wheels, etc.

You got it for $10,650 PLUS THE TRADE.

That's not the same thing as $10,650, now, is it?

still $11,850 without the trade for a $12,850 5 speed base model with convenience package during a period of no TOYOTA incentives . Not all that bad . Like I said the PRIZM had large dents from a deer up drivers side and rust / holes on and in rocker panel where it meets the rear tire wells . Plus 7 years old and with 90,000 plus miles . So , $1,200 is reasonable . The car was bought used for $6,600 with 21,000 miles in mid 2003 after other persons insurance payed for the 2000 PRIZM since he had rear ended and totaled the '99 PRIZM before . I think we did fine .

Last , the '08 Liftback is paid in full 1 year later . So , we've saved over $1,000 in interest and got part of disability insurance for loan reimbursed for paying off early on a 5 year loan .
