I see this thread taking an unexpected turn.
Let's see pictures of things your NST tow hook will hold. I suggest to refrain from using live animals however.

I just want to see more pictures of people's tow hooks period. Especially a Meteorite Metallic one with the grey tow hook.
So tempted to just buy one, but not sure how much I will like the color. |

From past experiences with NST, I'm sure you won't be disappointed with the hook...I'm betting the colors are excellent compliments to our paint. I'm going to snatch one of these up too.

Well, I'd rather have a black one. But I would like to see the dark grey vs. the MM paint.
I'm positive that the tow hook will be of great quality. |

Got mine today. Unfortunately this will probably be a show only piece for me as the bumper on the xD rubs hard against the hook when turning past two times :\
![]() ![]() ![]() I would also be interested if they would design a rear hook to match the looks and quality of this one :P

Got mine today. Looks rad (if that's what the kids still say today). I just had to stand on it to prove the urban myth mentioned in this thread.
I wish I could make it deploy with pushing a button....gotta say I hate the exposed hole now showing the frame underneath the bumper cover. That just wont do...gonna have to get the red exterior paint out and touch that up pronto. When people ask me about it i'm going to tell them its a Toyota exclusive atmospheric probe. Chances are, some will believe this. It will also make an easy weapon to smack a thug around in a parking lot. Its SOLID.

Love the thing you said about "smacking a thug around" ![]() On a serious note though... might I suggest cutting a small hole in your OEM "bumper cover" just large enough to allow your tow hook to screw into? This would help with covering the frame underneath! Good luck!
