i mind myself trying to just hit the key once on the forklifts at work all the time...they dont really like it either :)

Dodge has had this on the RAM p/u's for a while
it's not new, it's been around for as much as 10 years on some cars.

BTW if the car does not start the "crank hold " system will stop turning the engine over after about 5 seconds.

Yeah...I noticed that and told my fiancee the other day, I'm glad someone else noticed that.

Mine kept doing that until I changed a function in the audio deck. It was really annoying to have the volume go up and down. I didn't actually notice it get louder but when I came to quick stops it would decrease rapidly. I took the auto volume thing off, now it doesn't do it.

Speed Sentisive Volume Control..... some have it, some dont.

Im almost POSITIVE I dont have the feature.

What CD deck do you have? I have teh single MP3 one

Maybe the Americans ones have possibly, but the Canadians dont?

Im curious to know more.

Actually I did look in the manual. I did not see anything about speed and volume. Then again I skimmed the pages about the deck I have. I will have to look again and actually read it thru.

The deck I have is listed as the "Type 2" in the Sedan manual btw.
Im just glad to know Im not crazy, ok maybe still crazy, I'm just not hearing things.
