Interesting...

If this is something you can turn on and off, that is probably the reason why the ECU can not self adjust.

Can you explain were did you hooked up the potenciometer? Some pictures maybe...

i took some air hoses off the mo' fo' so it can breathe better imma post some pics of my mods it runs preety good.im beating some good cars the pbc pipe doesnt even get near the engine to cause it to melt lol

my mom haves a 06 corolla can i take the throttel from my yaris and swap it 4 hers without her ever knowing? they both are electronic throttels

the potenciometer turns on and off like a volume switch ill post some pics tomorrow about the potenciometer and the hoses. it feels alot different in a better way
