Painted mine black I used liquid tape to mask the lumination part. Still look confusing and rice. You did a right choice on that 5 series tail looks more luxury

I was wondering how they looked without the red tint on it, they still look great. Once you get that red tint on them they really do look like the bmw series 5 tails!

I don't like the chrome either but I didn't feel like opening the up to paint them. I might later
on though and paint then like I did my altezza style ones. The chrome is a lot less noticeable
on the series 5 than the altezza style.

I still have them. But they are not smoked. I painted them black chrome. I might sell them
or modify them, haven't decided yet.

If they're in good working order and you choose to sell them pls. put me at the head of the list.

They work perfect. No LEDs out. Even has an OEM plug so no wiring is required. Just plug it in. I'll let you know what happens.

I dunno about how I feel. Like they look good and all but its bmw 5 series styling. You might as well throw on M3 mirrors while you're at it. But unique and first time I've seen it nonetheless
