Ehhhhhhh... if I know one thing about Lebron James it is that he LOVES Akron, Ohio. I don't think he is going anywhere. He'll get his money.

He also seems to love New York, something that I really don't want to see happen.

He LOVES NEW YORK....That's where he's gonna go...Believe me I don't want him to go there but he will be on the biggest sports stage in the world. When he does he will surpass both Jordan and Kobe worldwide.

LOL like the world ignores him when he is in Cleveland. I never got that angle... it makes no sense.

New York is where good athletes go to die. Ask A-Rod, Stephan Marbury, Jason Giambi... I could keep going.

They don't...But do you have any idea how much bigger he will become. The reason the players go there is cause no other city can offer as much money as they can. All of the New York teams make a shit load of money. That's why they always get the players.

The NBA doesn't work like that. He can get more money here than anywhere because he played here before. If the Knicks offer him $4 billion dollars, we can (and probably will) offer him $4 billion and change.

When you're as good as he is, the market doesn't matter. Wade does fine in Miami... not known as being a multimedia juggernaut. Women are hot, though, I hear.

....Babe Ruth, DiMaggio, Yogi Berra, Roger Maris, Patrick Ewing,Eli Manning, I mean really, I could go on, probably longer than you could because, being a New England fan in almost every sport out there, I'm a bit hyper sensitive to New York's teams.

But really, more importantly, New York is where people go to get paid. And nobody can outbid a New York team that really wants a player.

That's the thing...The knicks will offer him an amount that the Cavs can't match...Simply cause they don't have that amount of money.

Miami is a football town and a town of BANDWAGON jumpers....But Miami is known for things....Clubbing, drugs, and gorgeous women. It's enough to attract players. On the radio they say we have an advantage just because of Miami Beach. When our opponents come to town, they party.

I agree there are alot of GORGEOUS women in Miami. But there for the most part gold-diggers. I'd rather find or date a mid-west country girl. Black hair, light eyes, and that country accent.....Whoa.

You guys don't know how the NBA works.

The Cavs have an opportunity to match and exceed any offer given by any team.
There is a cap in basketball. Its a soft cap, but its a cap.
The Knicks can't just offer him anything. They're constrained by league rules. This isn't baseball. (thank God)
He will be the highest paid player in the NBA... probably $28-30 million/year.
If Cleveland has to put him on the court with 4 space monkeys in order to pay his salary they will.

The only way he is leaving is if he REALLY wants to go to New York for cultural reasons. It won't be for the money.

No, I do have some idea how the NBA works, thank you.

Cleveland has to come up with the money to offer James, and be willing to pay it. I'm not really sure if the Cavs will go the route of sacrificing the rest of the team for just Lebron James. As a matter of fact, I'm sure they won't.

The Cavs have a good team, New York does not. Really, New York could afford to not change much and obtain James in 2010, the Cavs probably will not be in the same position.

Unless James offers a "hometown discount" I really don't see him staying in Ohio, despite all the wonderful things it has to offer..... like.... yeah.

Not to say I'd want him to move, but still, it doesn't really make sense, as far as his career is concerned. Imagined if he played for a big market team? Or even a medium market team that didn't have a franchise based entirely around the commercialization of a single player? It would be a great move for him.

The thing I hate about Lebron getting the MVP award is that for the past 5 years the player who has won the award has lost in the playoffs. Kobe, Dirk, Steve Nash twice, and KG. I hope Lebron can pull it through and win, he's just too good!

The Cavs will not lose a game on the way to the finals. I said it before the Pistons series and I'll keep saying it.

really... he can't even go shake hands and congratulate the other team? cmon. i can understand not always wanting to stand there and have some jackass in a terrible looking suit interview you but an acknowledgment of the other team is a must if you ask me. especially in a series that close. if matt hughes and matt serra can shake at the end of their fight then surely lebron can muster up enough respect for the other team's performance to go say "good game". but whatever. looking forward to the finals.

as much as I agree it's ironic that this is coming from someone with a picture of Kyle Bush's car!
