My turn signals don't like to cancel out either, even after a sharp turn.. but it's alright, it could be a lot worse. I had an 06 Scion xA and the horn was extremely sensitive and I'd honk it accidentally and scare myself, hahaha
It's nice this horn isn't as sensitive.

my blinkers don't cancel either, unless i make a hard turn. it could be worse. and they DO make a sound, its just extremely soft. it doesn't bother me too much. i've just gotten into the habit of checking. i've had my car for a little over a month now.

Like many others, I just made it a habit to manually turn off my turn signals.
As for the A/C. Well for me the A/C smells only after I turn the A/C off and if I leave my car on vent (the outside air coming in not the circulation one). To get rid of the smell I quickly put my temp to hot for a min then back to cold. The smell is usually gone. As for rattle. I currently don't have any as of yet. |

if you don't really hear the flasher clicking.... Hmm.. don't drive a GM car??! cuz you'd hear it even less!
i say the clicking is about the same as the echo's... there was once i hit the flashing by accident and didn't notice, but i did when i saw it flashing on the dashboard. the only car i've driven/seen that cancels the flashers with 1/3 or 1/4 turns on Y exits or wide turns is my dad's plymouth voyageur 90. both my echo and my yaris required about 1/2 turn... my sister's golf 2001 and 07 camry did the same.... ~1/2 turn |

I hadn't stopped to consider the volume of my turn signal click until this thread. It is very soft, but I haven't had any issues with it. I suppose I would file this under "different from what I'm used to" rather than an actual "problem." This may actually be one instance where the center-mounted gauge cluster makes since to me, as in my last car, my steering wheel sometimes obscured things at the periphery of the guages (like turn signals) so I had to rely upon hearing them more than I do in the Yaris.
Now, if they're blinking, I can't help but see it. Haven't had any problems with them not turning off when I want them to. At least, not any more than I've had in any car I've driven. |
