I would do the AFE. I had the AEM for a while and had problems with getting the filter wet and eerything was installed as it should be.

![]() Ah, Astroman! I coulda sworn someone did this but could not remember who or find a pic! I just sold my foglights and will be making the same type vent soon--did you back yours with any kind of mesh? did you use a dremel or utility knife? |

The people who've done this for brake duct cooling added dryer vent hose or similar to direct the air; I'm just gonna cut the slots out and go from there.

Since my engine is sucking air from inside the bumper i didn't use any ducting. I might go back and put in some later on but I figure for on that will help air circulate in ther more than before
