Damn for that lil' ass sh*t. Ummmm thanks but no thanks under $200 then yeah. C-One is expensive. You going to carry anything like this Garm? With a more reasonable price

Wouldn't the trans mount and the engine roll stopper accomplish essentially the same thing?

Hmm, I suppose the terminology turned me around :P
Garm, theoretically, what would happen if you combined this C-one/beatrush piece with an engine damper?

Yeah, now that Garm explained everything to me I'd pack a socket set.

Solid mounts is pretty hardcore. It can be daily drivable if you don't care if your teeth fall off, lol.
I had the Beatrush engine roll stopper and it made the car loud with tons of vibration. You kind of get used to it and you can lessen the vibration if you take off really fast but that just wastes a lot of gas, lol. Vibration is bad at lower RPMs.

Response though is amazing. On/off throttle is instant. No weight shifting from the engine so the Yaris feels very stable and secure when shifting and going on/off throttle.

My engine has so much travel, it's like it wants to be free. It moves over 6", easily. I deffinately need some sort of stiffer mount. I even went so far as to take the mounts apart and see what could be done. They are made of super soft rubber, and are nowhere near stiff enough to give responsive power at all. Anyone know where to buy the C-one or some poly-urathane bushings to help stiffen it a bit?

Just did a search, and the best thing for the money seems to be the 3M wino-urethane stuff. It takes some work, and some simple directions to follow, but it seems to be about as stiff as a solid motor mount. I am going to see if I can get some at a store nearby. Not a power increaser, but help put the ponies on the pavement.

If you use the roll stopper, you won't need the engine torque damper.

^Correct...

I ran the C-One transmount and the torque damper together, and IMO the torque damper was redundent.

The transmount takes a little more effort to install (a torque wrench is mandatory!), but if you're making some crazy power or tracking the car often you'll be in a better place with the transmount.

If you're N/A and mostly street then the adjustability of the torque damper is perfect!

As far as the vibration with the transmount is concerned...it's pretty crazy at first (I briefly thought about pulling the thing out!), but once you get used to it and learn to drive the car above 2k rpm's, it's easily one of the better mods for the car as far as "global" car performance in concerned...

...It is a bit unpopular with the wife though!

My wife hated it at first too. but all the girls at the office love it!!! ummmmmmm.

DNGZ has the Nitto engine mount and the Beatrush mount on his car.
I can attest the benefit of this if you are tracking the car. Especially if you have a 9lb flywheel and LSD.

Here is a thought......How about take out the original engine mount, and only replace the bushing on one side with window weld. Keep the other stock. Should be just about right with good vibration isolation and improved performance.
