Movie was good overall....i didnt like how the whole gangsta accent came in those two robots, that seemed outta place.....too much pussy/slang jokes made it more of a teen movie rather than a o'l timer movie.

Fight scenes were awesome and Optimus actually fights in this one pretty good :) Megan Fox is always lookin hot~

I liked it a lot and I agree about the urban chatter on the two small bots. People take for granted how the CGI/art/effects are in these movies. That thing was freakin' awesome. I'd like to see it again without the a-hole in front of me who couldn't turn off his cell phone and the woman behind me who's little girl needed to talk and whine thru the whole thing. I am reminded of why I like to go to weekday afternoon matinees. No crowds.

Oh and I have to add...Megan fox is so HAWT! She had several slo-mo running scenes....reminded me of Baywatch. LOL

Yup, even more so than the first one. It is so completely shameless how it's done to. It really does look like a Chevy commercial throughout the whole film.
I don't mind a bit of product placement here or there but for an entire film to exist solely as an ad campaign is pathetic.

How much did GM finance this film??

Thing is, a movie like this doesn't even need a sponsor. It made $200,000,000.00 in it's first 5 frickin' days.

I thought the movie was OK, but 3 things did bug me:

1. Optimus Prime goes from Truck to Robot, back to Truck within seconds at the beginning for no reason at all.

2. Robot heaven... with the primes near the end.

3. Most of the action scenes were too close to the robots making it difficult to see what was happening.

The rest was all right. Sounds are pretty neat too.

OK so the local paper gave it 3 stars .. ok. Then day later, national critics gave it bad reviews.

Here's the deal in my eyes. I saw it a little over a week ago and I can deff see where the critics were coming from.

1) There was too much "ghettoness" from the robots.

2) Optimus Prime as the last of the primes? If anyone follows Transformers, there were more.

3) The development of the Decepticons still facinates me on how not they are in reality of the Transformer universe. Instead, they are these Terminator like robots rather than what they looked like in the past. I think the closest they got with the development of the robots at all was Optimus Prime.

4) A human goes to Robot Heaven ... with no Primus available ... ? Nuff said.

5) Jetfire is a geezer.

6) the list can go on and on.

Don't get me wrong, the CGI was great and all, but the storyline was eh and Holywood really needs to stop taking games, comics, and other things of our past, and ruining it for the newer generations.

I mean, I just watched X3: The Last Stand again last night and remembered how they butchered up the X-Men. I'm surprised Stan Lee went along with it.

Thumbs up

Kcalb Siray - Humina Humina is right! She's not so shiny in this picture. I loved her slo-mo running shots...especially in the IMAX!

Saw it yesterday.

First I'll say I loved the first one. This one however left me wondering how such a script could be used in the biggest budget movie of the year. The story was very weak with dialogue that was insultingly cheesy. Seems like Micheal Bay cares about nothing but huge special effects (which were indeed very good). It was good for the eyes but didn't do anything to keep me engaged in what was going on.

But it was expected as critics destroyed it as well.

It really makes us appreciate a film like the Dark Knight where superb special effects can go hand in hand with a superb script with Oscar caliber acting. I thing Micheal Bay needs to go to a Christopher Nolan class.

Dude, I've been waiting for 2012 forever. Accidentally stumbled across it on IMDB when there was nothing on it yet. Somewhere in the ballpark of 1.5/2 years ago, so it's been a long wait for me lol. And plus it's Roland Emmerich so it's gonna have the best special effects EVERRRRRRR!!!11 And yes, GI Joe looks friggin awesome.

There are some interesting characters in this one though, although I think they couldve made the action sequences last a bit longer, it seemed like they were telling too much story and were told to cut out alot of action scenes to keep the movie under 2.5 hours...lol
Cut action to make room for story? WHAT STORY?! I can sum the story (or lack there of) up in one sentence:
Stop the Decepticons from destroying the sun.
But hopefully Michael Bay wont be directing it.

And since we are talking about movies anyway:

For all you GoW fans out there, they plan on making ALL THREE games into a trilogy of movies. Here's the first one:
