actually I'll clean the under panel every time when it's on the rack plus I'll drive very very slow when I see there's any tarmac & water on the road

yeah someone ask me that to.. i have one also.. if they fixed the problem then we should be able to send ours back and get one thats fixed! not cool so far.. 2 things ive gotten from nitto where not right.. the torqu dampner ended up making a hole in my strut tower.. and the mid pipe is different and the paper gasket they gave me to attach both halfs of pipe together is blown out already and i got an exhaust leak....

yea.. not too impressed with that mid-pipe personally. The axle back is nice though.. its too loud for me, but its still quiet enough for 99% of people buying an aftermarket exhaust.
i'm willing to bet this new mid-pipe fixes the issues.

The only reason that would happen to a torque damper is because one or more bolts came loose, or weren't tightened properly in the first place. If it fails, it should be at the rubber joint, not where it attaches to the car.

You can't get it out after you take the tip off? It's in there pretty tight, but it shouldn't be welded.

the ring use to lock the screw is welded to the silencer, if I can remove the silencer, that means I can't lock the tip back....you know what I mean

Just do a little D.I.Y. yesterday, I painted the silencer black because I can't remove it.

Now, it looks better

The solution is simple; use a new set of nuts.

Super clean car, btw, nice job.
