If they do a tune for (basic bolt ons CAI,Header,Catback exhaust, and prove some decent gains Im in too. I liked the suggestion above to do it with injectors and bigger throttle body, and basic bolt ons, that way there should be decent gains.

Figure ~10 WHP gain with all basic bolt ons. closer to 15-20 WHP for the supercharged or turbo guys.

i just notice the unichip is normally doing big engine vehicles ..i dont think they can do much for the yaris though..5 hp maybe..just my thoughts.
now $700 cnd for 40 whp on a vw gti is well worth it.. |

if it's 450 it'd better come with computer software and a harness to connect to the OBD2 port...then i'd be in.
i know it's got nothing to do with yaris but camaro/mustang tuners out there are about 300 bux, and you hook up YOUR house computer or lappy to the obd port, and they provide software. anyone can edit anything the computer controls. from FI duration to shift points, rev limiters and high speed cutoff points. anything the computer controls. and with all the support from forum members it's as simple as tellin what you got and someone else tellin u where you need your points and durations set. a simple timing adjust would probably net close to 10hp on the yaris...and a serious timing jump and a 91 octane tune would likely get 15-20 |
