looks to me like you traded a apple for a apple. The only difference I see is the shiny tip

yeah that was the point.. cheaper than a TRD tip and no welding :)


at least until i can find a performance exhaust that is barely louder than stock

there's a TRD tip? Or do you mean the acessory catalog one? If that's true then that's just a basic bolt-on tip.

yeah thats the one i was refering to.

the one on this axle back is actually part of the exhuast not a bolt on tip

Looks great on the Yaris. I'm still on my stock muffler too. I hate the giant tips of most of the performance exhausts available for the Yaris and I'm looking for something quiet too. I've got the OEM fancy tip on mine and I must say that I find your Scion tip to be more visually appealing.

yeah i like it. i loved the sound of the tanabe in town on short trips.. but after driving 2 hours with it i decided stock was the best route for now ..

There's a guy down the street from me with a fartcan on his Saturn. The car sounds anemic because it IS anemic. If my Yaris sounded like his Saturn, I'd have to kick my own ass. Loud exhaust on an econobox is great....if you're a teenager. To everyone else that lives on your street, it's annoying as hell.
