Spectator fee for extra drivers would be plenty fair.

Let me know, I'll propose it to the team. We do need to get some track time in this car before September.

Hey,
the link is on the first post, so just buy one entrance fee, and well the other three drivers have to pay spectator fees, 5$ each. How does that sound? Just try to let me know as soon as possible :)

Put us on the list. We have a lot of work to do on the race car Saturday, but if it doesn't get done for some reason, we'll show up in something else. (we have a streetable stripped BMW, an Evo, an RX8 and my Yaris to choose from...)

Here to officially put you down you have to pay on the website (other three drivers can pay $5 spectator fee at the door):

https://www.kamispeed.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=2049

Also, if your friends want to take their Cars I can do 55$ to register 4 cars, as opposed to $85. Let me know as soon as possible

Our focus is going to be testing the race car. If that doesn't happen, it will likely just me out in my Yaris playing. I'll go get registered.

Fun, it was. And freakin' hot!

But, the car behaved well and didn't break. This is good.

I forgot my camera! I think one of the guys got a couple short vids of our car on track, that was about it.

There were a lot of really powerful and/or otherwise well-prepared cars there. But, only a few of them seemed to be turning really fast laps. Lots of lame excuses. Lots of people blaming their cars for everything.

I'm a little on the fence about whether it was worth it or not. For US it was worth it, as it gave us a good opportunity to shake down the car for not a lot of money. But, I like to think of track time as being worth about $100/hour. (I can get 3 hours at Sebring for around $300) Here we paid $85 for 3 sessions. We missed a session because we were a little late... so call it 4 sessions. The sessions were 7 laps each, about 8 minutes. So, half an hour of track time for $85. A tad on the steep side.

The track was surprisingly fun, even though it was all 2nd gear like an autocross. There are places that could be dangerous if you tried to over-drive it. The funny part was that the most dangerous parts people made MORE dangerous by trying to drive pinching off the exit of the turn (likely to instigate a spin) instead of tracking out toward the wall and driving a proper fast line. Faster and safer to drive at 9/10 on the correct line than to drive at 10/10 on the wrong line!

well it was our first time running an event like that so we did have a few/more kinks than expected. we also didn't expect the the track to start tearing apart the way it did, which was the major reason we ended early.

I think the track is being re-paved and expanded, but we'll keep you guys posted on what happens, and we'll try to post pictures and videos once we get them running

The 15s are fine for track rims. Weight makes up for the look...Im still trying to find a good set of 15s to buy a good set of tires to put on...

Job requires me to drive 2000 miles a month, Ventus RS2s wont stand a chance, lol.
