Eatery suggestions

Anyone in or around the Orlando area have suggestions of good places to eat that are not expensive, but still have good food? Preferrably NOT seafood (neither of us like seafood).

I was in Tampa a little over a year ago and had a rental through Alamo. They told me I could have any car in the compact class, and when I walked out to the lot there was a lone maroon Yaris sedan in the corner. Obviously I took it. I ended up buying one less than a month later...

Cheers! M2

I'm all about the help

YELP<<<Check out Yelp they have reviews from locals and tourists definitely a good start for researching your food and shopping....

if you're into trying new things definitely see if you can take the cooking class @ Roy's Hawaiian Fusion restaurant on Sandlake it's WORTH IT!

BLue Man Group if you're into the main stay touristy things (if you don't care where you sit and you want a deal on tickets take a student ID and you'll get into the show for like $35/person for two people If I remember correctly.

shopping on the ritzy side means going to Mall @ Millenia, also swing by the Exotic Car gallery down there too.

Thanks for the tip! While the chains are nice, as you know what to expect, I like finding the off-the-beaten-path places, usually family run, that offer great food, wonderful service, and a terific atmostphere... I think the last time we traveled (in March), it was the middle of nowhere, I asked the person at the front desk if they could recommend a nice place to eat, and after answering a few questions on cuisine likes, atmostsphere, etc, they recommended a nearby, quaint, wonderfully-run place... Some of the best food I've had! And really good on the wallet too!!
