Same reason most Yarii are not often fully optioned, people buy the Yaris because it's a cheap...I mean...affordable econo-car, not because it's a fully decked out luxury vehicle

My S Sedan with 8-spoke alloys must have been sitting on the lot for a long time, hard to find a buyer for a loaded Yaris with stick shift - luckily that was EXACTLY what I was looking to buy!!

That's just it, the Yaris shouldn't HAVE to be fully optioned out just to get it with a decent set of wheels. The wheels should be a reasonably priced, stand alone option.

The day I picked up my car at the dealer, I drove it home (about 40 miles)and the 1st thing I did was take off the 5 spokes and put on my TRD 18's. HUUMMM, I guess these will be somewhat unique in the future. And yes, I'm gonna keep-em.

toyota.com Go to build your own. Its package PV for the GST Region.

The only difference between the "S" and the "RS" is the "S" has an "S" badge glued to the car and the "RS" has an
"RS" glued to the car. If you really want an "RS" just go to toyota and buy the "RS" badge and glue it to your Yaris.

Otherwise you would have to do a preference order and will have to wait several months for it to come in.

So the badge that they place on the trunk is clipped on? Thats funny because the "Toyota" and "Yaris" is glued on. Why would they glue 2 badges and not the 3rd?

Not sure what the "GST Region" is, but from what I've heard/read/seen, including on the Toyota site, the RS is/was in Canada but not the US. The US used to have "S" versions of cars available, but no more as of the '10 model year. Now we have the Sport Package available instead (with or without alloys, and which includes the Power Package features plus spoiler, lip kit, and fog lights).

GST=Gulf States Region The "S" is still available. It's called something different on Toyota's paper work but the outcome is still the same.

It's called a Yaris with a Sport Package... not an S. And not an RS either.

see, i thought you said that the S was the same as a base model but w/ badges

otherwise, i think the S and RS are the same....i can't think of an options that would be different other than mph/kph speedo's

The S and base Yaris are not the same. I was referring to the S, RS, and the Sports Package being the same package.

Not glue, but rather 'mounting tape' which is thin foam with adhesive on both sides.
Peel and stick!

regardless of your constant need to be not-wrong, he meant the RS badge that goes on the front grill is a clip on

the rear badges are all stuck on using adhesive tape
