Finally a subject that I have a small amount of experience with! Folks, I've been in the trucking business for just about 33 years. Cleaning windows gets to be a daily routine for most drivers and they won't put up with anything that isn't working well.

We buy Castle Streakproof by the case and it's great.

We've tried other brands several times and the only thing that comes close is Zep's Foaming window cleaner. But you have to be really careful with that stuff if you use it on other surfaces inside your vehicle. It won't hurt plastics but we found that labels over the dash switches can be ruined if you get the Zep on them. We've even seen it take the paint off wiper arms. Powerful stuff but we had to quit using it because of that.

I like the Zep for the windows on my home and the Castle for the windows on my vehicles. If anyone else uses these, I would be interested in your opinion too.

RainX is great but you wont notice it until it rains. then you think its some sort of a mysterious magical product. I highly recommend it.

In my opinion, number 1 product is "GOLDEN SHINE GLASS CLEANER". I use all their products. Give them a try, I guarantee you will love.

I've tried a lot of products. I've found that cleaners that don't foam tend not to leave a film or haze. Also, you can use #0000 steel wool on windows, if they don't have after market window tint. The steel wool is fine enough to pull off the girt that's on the windows, but won't scratch the glass. Stoners, Invisible Glass and #0000 steel wool is what I use most of the time.
