Since I live in Colorado I'd like either the Springs or Denver, but would be willing to drive up to 1000 miles to attend a car show. As many have already mentioned, picking the location for a national event is difficult. A lot of people don't like driving very far, but if you don't have it in a centralized location nobody will show up (or very few anyway).

All through the 90's I made pilgrimages from Denver to Indy, Nashville, St. Louis, Detroit, Columbus and even as far away as Portland, Maine & Daytona, Florida in my '88 Fiero GT. Many people from the west coast never made the trips, which was too bad, but the one year they held it in Vegas even fewer people attended because those on the east coast and in the midwest did not want to drive 2000+ miles for the show so only California people were there.

I think anywhere in the central US is your best bet.....just about everyone will have a road trip to get there, but no one group will have to drive an insane distance to get there.

^ If he didn't want people to have that option to choose, he shouldn't have included it.

He also didn't answer my question:

You left out Nashville/Import Alliance as a choice, so I guess it's not being considered. Can you confirm that, please?

I'd go if it were in Nashville, but I don't make enough money to leave the southeast.

How about Anchorage.? Equally far to everyone, at least it's fair :)

Oh, and a good endurance test for the cars and the drivers.

hi, I really like the idea of this and think that I can talk my wife and kids into the long trip to wherever it ends up being.

If you are going to list Texas then why not also suggest Austin? Austin has a lot to offer as well...just a thought. I will say up front that I chose St. Louis. I won't travel further west. I don't mind traveling however to be point blank blunt I am honestly fed up with so many peeps expecting people to go to Cali for sh!t. Leavin it at that.

Like a couple people have mentioned, the date is going to be important! I live in St. Louis and of course voted for St. Louis, but coming here in the winter months would suck.

When is this supposed to happen?
