the reason why you need the vin is because they are scarce in part for the us because of the tsunami and they only want you buying parts for your vehicle.. i bought the 09-11 rear lip and put it on my 08.. i can find out the parts number from the dealer because im good friends with the people in the parts department to clear up all of the confusion and frustration...

can you confirm that the front and rear lips we listed are accurate part numbers, then?

I came across a 2010 RS rear bumper with spoiler that I mounted on my '06. I should have taken pictures of it when it was all in pieces.

I would imagine that a purchased rear spoiler would come with all necessary pins and clips required for mounting.

The issue you will have with the spoiler (both front and rear) is the series of tabs along the upper edge. There are about a dozen of these that will require slots about an inch long to be cut into the bumper. Once inserted into the slots, clips are pushed into these tabs to secure it in place. I don't know if the tabs could be cut off, and the spoiler secured with 3M tape. This would atleast spare the tricky task of cutting slots in the bumper.

this is correct, if you have an 09-up it is a direct fit and the back of the bumper shows where to cut(according to the instructions), if you have an 08-under it wont fit perfectly.. it does come with all the clips and instructions on how to install of it... it was the scariest thing in the world to do the slots.. especially since i have an 08..

here is how mine looks currently...

Can anyone tell me is the 5DR Sport very rare in US? Because that is what the sale manager told me. Thanks
