$160,887,295 opening weekend, the biggest 2D opening of all time.

What did you guys think?

I loved it. What an epic masterpiece. Saw in in IMAX, really the only way to see this.

For those that were worried about Catwoman/Hathaway, well, turns out she's brilliant in the movie.

yup, I thought it was great, a little slow at times, but it all adds to the story. I did also enjoy cat woman's role. too bad there had to be that Colorado tragedy...

A lot of it was filmed with IMAX cameras, a lot more so the The Dark Knight. Feels like you are part of the movie. The whole theater literally vibrates with such things as the Bat Plane's propellers starting up.

A spectacular experience.

I went last Thursday and saw it as a marathon at the LiMax here in Austin. They began with Begins at 1800 and then rolled right into Dark Knight without an interruption, then after about a 10 min buffer they ran Rise at 0001 Friday morning. Seeing it this way I do have to say is epic. It is like watching the LoTR trilogy as a marathon. My only complaint about Rise would be that I kind of felt like there was about 20 min of footage that didn't truly contribute that could have been cut. Other than that there was a few times where when Bane spoke it was a little tough to hear clearly and I am thinking that had to do with the volume of the film being played in the cinema. I am thinking of going again actually this evening.

She was definitely better than Holmes and the second woman that played Rachel. More substance and more of a role for sure. She also is a hell of a lot hotter than the other two...of course the leather suit helps.

Just finished seeing it at the LiMax a second time. Was just as good for sure. Perhaps better since I was more engaged in looking for the subtle nuances of the film. I really walked away further impressed by the musical score also. Excellent reminder of the abilities for music to put icing on the cake when utilized properly.

I saw it. I prefer The Dark Knight better. Bane's voice was annoying as ever, don't like hathaway, didn't want robin in it, and it wasn't realistic enough for me.

The thing that I loved about The Dark Knight, was that most of it seemed like it could actually happen. Besides the part when batman rides his motorcycle up the wall for a moment at 60 mph and then turns it around (when he ties up the joker in the semi truck and it flips over). But everything else seemed possible. The Dark Knight Rises was kinda cheesy at times. Sorry, it's just my opinion.

$64,000,000+ in its 2nd weekend.

10 day total = $289M. 3rd best all time (The Avengers & The Dark Knight 1&2).

On a side note, did you know that The Dark Knight Rises cost $250M to make?! For comparison, The Dark Knight cost $185M. Batman Begins cost $150M.
