Ah, I do run mine at 32 PSI, probably the culprit since I run my summer wheels at 35 usually.

I just purchased some Hankook Optimo 4S All Weather tires (they are rated the same as winter tires, for places like Quebec that requires winter tires) for my 2007 Yaris 3 Dr LB. They are only sold in Canada (at Canadian Tire) and apparently do awesome in winter conditions. I didn't want to change tires so winter tires were not an option. So far I really like them .. but I am still waiting to see how my mileage is on these new tires. I guess I have to wait some time to see how they really work in winter.

unless they are illegal. Many places don't allow them at all, or only during certain times of year.
