I was stating why i recommended the amp but wouldn't purchase it. At this time it's more cost efficient to go with an entry level amp that is a bit more efficient on the electrical system as well.

The amp i had (sold it ) did 1500 watts rms @ 1ohm. It goes for 120 bucks. You need good electrical cause it has the potential to draw about 100 amps of current.

@Alien Mantis. Define "Dirty Power "

That amp will do 1400 clean 1500 and then some Dirty. Which is fine for burps.

Oh, I totally agree.

The cheaper amps seem to run hotter and they have a poor signal-to-noise ratio. Not all, but some do. Can't trust the specs on the box either, the manufacturer can fudge the numbers.
Like with subs. Cheap subs that have weak motors will be rated at 1,500w max power. That is maybe for like a split second at a specific freq range!

All kinds of marketing tricks. You know this game, you get what you PAY for.
The "good" stuff will cost you.

Alien i wont go any further off topic but you'd be suprised how many of them cookie cutter name brand "good " subs and amps are built by the same build houses over in Korea,Japan,or China. Some get a Soundstream logo others get a Power Acoustic Logo. Hell do enough research and some may get an Alpine logo !!! If you opened up 10 diff Manufacturers amps, you'd be suprised what you'd find inside and who shares the same boards.
