That's interesting. The shop who replaced my alternator put on rebuilt Denso. Even as a rebuilt it was expensive--or at least his price was. I didn't mind. I know he does not nickle and dime for every little thing and he is reliable. Any shop that is good and reliable is not always going to be the cheapest.

I just had my alternator replaced. Got stick of listening to the damn noise!

I'm very happy that I did! :thumb:

Any idea what I can do with the old alternator? I bought a genuine toyota one so no core credit :-(
