In my last car a Saab 93 I had Neuton 8000 tyres which were ultra high performance summer tyres.

Since you've indicated that you are not looking for performance, just mostly city driving, my recommendation would be All Season and get three times the tread life of UHP tires. Also, go skinny with 175s to maximize fuel economy.
