If you noticed anything due to you smoothining out the innner box, id be the first one to insert my foot in my mouth. There is no way that did anything, seriously, your better off leaving it alone. What he said is true, the ridges help trap pieces of sand and dirt that get in there. Without the ridges the whole internal cyclone going on pulls the dirt up into the air filter, whether it breaks through after a while or not I dont know, but I can gurantee you it will get wedged into the filter. Remove the silencer, add a k&n, and there you go.......

i clean my filter every 7000 km, i cant see so much dirt or sand in it.
I feel my car is a little more progressive and fluid, that's all.

I just read your signature.... Why are you running such thick oil in your car? your are ribbing your car of HP, gas mileage and throttle responce, seems silly...... and how much HP does the TRD logo add? and what else is TRD to merit the logo?

not so much, it's summertime , and temp are very hot.
10/40 give me extra protection, i will have this car for long time, zx1 give me extra slide, magnetic oil filter give me extra clean.
At the end of the summer oil become a 5/30 because of the use

Why does everyone seem to jump on each other's backs like fucking phirranas. So the guy shaved off some shit and he thought he'd share it. He didn't boast about it from what i can tell, he just wanted to talk about it. Yea tough criticism is expected whenever you post something like this but seriously, i think he just wanted to share something and not be attacked.

we're a community not a fucking lynch mob. if i wanted to be an elitist snob i'd have joined a community for a car worth more than 12000

and look instead of fighting back he's still asking for ya'll opinions on what the best oil would be.

You know what, that is rediculous. I wonder how many people new to this car and the board don't/won't post cause of sh*t like this... and from a Moderator no less! Ironically this is coming from someone who ran twin tips on a stock-motor yaris... well, thats just as "ricer" as hell... aren't you supposed to be the "Anti-Rice" ??????????? Throwing out all that noob-hating BS, jumping on folks for STICKERS? WTF dude. I don't know you personally, but on those accounts your a chode.
