apparently some lady called when i wasn't home and told my mom that an estimated price for the fixture would be in the ballpark number of $500 or more. No more information was given since the lady said that the car wasn't under my moms name.....so I'm waiting for their call and i'll update this post ><

2nd opinion right now is that it might have been to the fact that i disconnected the BuddyClub grounding kit on the car but I don't see how that would affect the car in that bad of a way

anytime you take a car into the dealerships to repair.. know that you are going to be ripped off.

Yea I know. but I can't really do much about it because I'm pretty damn sure it's under warranty (all i have on it is an autostart alarm and a fcking air filter......those should not be making the transmission work funny at all)

if you're old enough to rent a car, then they'll offer you a loaner. i couldn't get one, but Toyota Vallejo did offer me one.

because they're "dealing with customers" or "the service techs are busy at the moment"

some states, you can have a rental if you're 21.. but I Think it'll be a bit of a higher rate or something.

haha nice.

Well apparently my MAF sensor is now corrupt and has to be replaced >< WTF?!?!?! O_O so I have to bring in my original air box and have that re-installed (time labor....argh) and get a replacement MAF sensor for $265>< Hopefully those jerks don't jack up the "time" cost so that the total for it all is $500 or I kill them...... haha not literally but that's just my catch phrase that I tend to use a lot lol.

that's why i went with TRD CAI & had my local dealer install it ..cause then if something fu*ks up they can't blame the mod cause they installed it ..I'm not touching the engine/electrical for other mods till i get to 30G miles & off the warrenty

haha smart move. I'll probably run things stock for a long time now at the current moment......and that's actually my only "mod" just a nicer air filter >< and now i can't even run that..........how sad. I hope it doesn't cost that much tomorrow when I drop by with my stock air filter box....

Okay, well i received a call from the service department. They replaced my MAF sensor and re-installed the original air box but they said that something else is wrong with the car...........they've had it for a week now and that's all that's been done to it...........sorta sad..........
