I agree, i was always curious to see the new designes, and now the thread is 2 pages when it was like 7.

Fully functional ...
There were three pics I posted up with 2 versions. The functionality was that the vent near the driver side headlight was to flow more air for an airbox, short ram, and could for a CAI. The rear vents are so that the heat from the engine bay can escape quicker thus keeping a cooler engine. Also, because it is a simple design, the cost of producing it shouldn't be much at all thus making the hood more affordable for the consumer. Version 1 (vent flush with edge of hood) Version 2 (front vent moved up a little) Version 1 with eyelids Of course, this can still be varried for the concern of the rain. But then again, there's a lot of hoods out there on the market that have this problem as well.

It just doesn't seem like it would force all that much air in. If I'm going to spend hundreds on a hood, I want to know it is going to FUNNEL air in by looking at it!
