sorry about the broken bottle...

You still have the lint, though (and from the pic the lint looks to be in fine shape) -- so what was the upsetting thing? Were you attached to the jar or something?

I am sorry for your loss,
Can we all start a collection of lint, so we can help a fellow member.

I'm sure if he goes to a laundromat he could find a heap of it for free!

I'd actually be pretty stoked if people sent me dryer lint...

But really, then I'd have to start finding something to do with it. It would be cool to use it for sound insulation in the rear quarter panels of the LB, but I'm scared about it being so flammable -- so that's out.

You're the first person I've heard to do this sort of thing. I've met many pack rats over the years.

I, for example, have about ten cubic yards of books in my duplex. These includes cast offs from a local college library. Since I was trained in Mathematics I have a large collection of texts in various disciplines. Probably sell them off over time. Math never really changes so they'll keep their value.

In contrast my supply of computer language books I liken to lettuce. They spoil over time. You want to be rich? Write computer books, and as soon as you're done with one, start another.

My Landlord keeps old electronics manuals. He has technical specs on chips that are so old that they're not even offered by second or third sources. They're only worth something to a museum or a paper recycler. I'm thinking about pitching them and replacing the lot with a few CDs of new technology. He'll whine but in time get over it. Might even get him into the 21st century.

My wife has suggested that you make a cd drop spindle and you can spin it into yarn.... http://danielson.laurentian.ca/quali...op_spindle.htm She is an avid spinner and also works in the mental health field.

Or you could sell it on ebay and make a fortune.......

Take a shot of thorazine just enough to calm you down!!!

Haha, that looks like a cool idea. Really easy and simple to do. Maybe I will make that sweater...

Also interesting -- I work in acute psychiatry as a student nurse. Can you believe it?? 0_o
