I couldn't tell you, I don't watch the MPG, I care only for RPM and MPH. ;)

This is really good news. Has anyone tested this in force induction?

i bet it tastes just like chicken.

I am also guessing the 1zz throttle body will only hurt gas mileage.

Running a 1ZZ does make it easier to reduce your gas mileage because with a larger bore it takes a lot less gas pedal movement to meter more air into the engine. Driving with a light foot has kept my mileage the same as the 1NZ.

My MPG decreased to about 27 city/35 highway since the 1ZZ TB and MI manifold install. I think the decrease is a product of me running the car up to redline a lot and generally beating on it A LOT more than I used too. There is this lump of power around 3500-4000 RPMs so I generally drive the car in that rev range and above all of the time.

So funny. So driving the crap out of the car you still get better gas mileage than the majority of vehicles on the road. Awesome.

Yes, which is exactly why I don't give a crap about MPG...worst case and we still get better mileage than most.

Not yet, and it will be a while. I am still trying to find someone who will make an exhaust for me. I want to take out one of the cats and no shop around here will do that. Since I don't have the hook-up anywhere I am stuck waiting for this guy at work who offered to help me out, but he can't get to it for another month or two at least.

The plan is to get the exhaust finished, an o2 bung installed so I can get a wideband, then get an AEM FIC. That is bottom of the list though as I need to get a new driver's seat (currently using a old ratty Corbeau Forza) and a set of tires. First the needs, then the wants.

Not everyone has the additional money and/or time and/or access to a shop to dyno the car.

^ I wish we had a "loaner" manifold for this purpose, but we have to ship every one that comes in until we catch up with orders.
