So far I found
Dynojet @ 127.00 Dynodynamic @ 95.00 Dynacomp @ 75.00 The Dynojet is at the most well known dyno shop in town, well known for their high prices...I'd hope the price reflects their quality, but how much better can they be for 50 bucks over the cheapest guy?

Just use the cheapest one. The number is not going to be comparable to anyone else's numbers anyway (except for the fun of it and the "discussion value"). The usefulness of a dyno is to compare the SAME car before and after modifications, or to TUNE the car using a dyno.

It's not like you're going to get any tuning done either. Go cheaper.

Works for me...
Since I just scored those pullies from Jason I'm going to install and dyno when they get here. Should be next week...

And honestly, even the same car on different days can show variations. Temp/humidity/barometric pressure can all affect dyno numbers.
Just make sure you understand how the dyno works, where the dyno gets the temp/humidty readings, and if the operator monkeys with it and adds any absurd adjustments to screw with your numbers. A good shop won't do this, will tell you where and how everything works, and will give you honest numbers.

Has anyone dyno'd their car yet with this manifold on the car?
Just wondering, I've been off of the radar for a bit. I'm still 100% happy with my manifold, I beat on the car relentlessly and I'm still getting 32-34 miles per gallon. |

Yes I had but I sold it to someone local cuz I had too many open projects going on and my card was maxed out so I sold it, paid the card off, and puchased all the rest of the parts for my BBS

Looking at the pictures and they look clearly different down to the angle of the throttle body and the length of the runners. I'm sorry but telling me to do your work for you is just lazy. The proof is on you. |
