this worries me cuz i just installed these guys and i autocross. sometimes on a quick straight i will stay in second and let the rev limiter bounce if there is a quick turn not to far but would be losing time if i go to third.
I would not worry about these at all on a car with a stock limiter.

^^ ok, good, thats what i was getting at... i dont plan on adjusting my rev limiter unless i do some serious head and bottom end work which probably never happend.

I know he skeletonized an existing hood, don't know which one.

I have no idea what post you are referring to, or what you took from it. Some things are made purposely vague until the publication is printed.

The hood and hatch both started as production Seibon OE replacements. They were modified to suit our needs, including a sizable weight reduction accomplished by removing most of the fiberglass support structure they use.

Just got back from Toyota... Happy to see nothing got broken or stolen while the car was on display.

Now I get to reset the suspension, mount up some more tires and head to Willow Springs next week. The VP's from Toyota and Sony are going to take some laps in the Yaris... And the quickest of the Sony guys will race it next month in Phoenix.

Got to see them unbox a test mule while we where there. Comes in on a flatbed in a crate. When they opened the create it already had all of the camouflage on it. They go to a lot of effort to hide the lines of a new model. And no, it was not a Yaris.

Virtual racing is getting in the way of real racing... All of the Sony guys are tied up with GT5, so this weekends shootout has been pushed to December, with the final race date to be sometime in 2011.

Good news for us, now we have the car for the 2011 season for sure. Time to make it faster.

I don't know of any source. They made them on site for the press conference on Tuesday, and they were gone quick.

^ If they are smart, they'll back up next season with some #99 merchandise.

Stranger things have happened... These are projects our company was involved with some years back when we produced FJ magazine (note the RACER magazine logo). Both were later turned into diecast cars.

It would be nice to have a close-ratio box... Unfortunately its not a legal swap in H Prod.
