The most I've done on a tank was 654 km, still had 4 litres left in the tank, which was good for another 67 km. So theoretically I could have done ~720 km to the tank. And that was city driving at 5,93 l/100km...

Summer time : 600 km
Winter time 550 km from full to last bar blinking. 24 000 km 08 Yaris. I'm not able to drive any slower than 100 on back roads and 120 Hwy. As for safe speed, the safest speed is to follow the traffic, you encounter a minimum of cars, have a minimum of lane changes, don't have to pass, no need to be passed. |

700Km for me
I almost always get 700km before I need to fill up again, and I usually only get 36 liters of gas back into the tank, so I guess I could travel a little more. One day Ill buy a Geri can and see where my car dies. I have pushed it as far as 740km (once) but the gas bar indicator is blinking rapidly. I have two work commutes, one is 80km return and the other is 238km return. And thats going 110km/h most of the way sometimes a little up to 120km/h and with the a/c on in the summer, but when I put my winter tires on it drops to about 600km (ish) per tank.
