Not sure exactly but they've really cut out the bloat of Vista, and a lot of people are running it quite nicely on basic netbooks, so that's encouraging to see!

You'd be surprised how many people actually believe I'm running 95... all my toolbars are set to be windows classic style so it's pretty convincing at first glance

I've been running it in Parallels for a while now with 1 processor and 1G of RAM assigned to it, and it's been pretty stable for me, I may actually be putting it on my Boot Camp partition when rc2 comes out (July, I think, is the target date for that).
and for the minimum system requirements (I think someone asked): * 1 GHz processor (32- or 64-bit) * 1 GB of RAM (32-bit); 2 GB of RAM (64-bit) * 16 GB of available disk space (32-bit); 20 GB of avaiable disk space (64-bit) * DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver And lastly, if you wanted to upgrade directly from WinXP to Win7, you're SOL http://www.techradar.com/news/softwa...ndows-7-590710 |

lol well thanks... though I consider geek to be a badge of honor really I usually change my wallpaper every 1-2 weeks. Sometimes car related, sometimes anime related, sometimes abstract, but this last time my inner trekker came out
