That's right, those block are the reflectors, but they are cover too. That's the effect of the camera flash. When you cover your lights with that film the reflectors and the lights still working very bright. I'am going to take the night pictures today and post it tomorrow. Sorry I'am out of my town. Next monday I'am going to call the guy that make me the work and ask him where did he buy the tint film. Ohhh ,I paid $15.00 each tail light, tint and work. I'ts not really easy to work with that film. It took him about 15 minutes each one and he works on window tint every day. Hey Chris I saw a white Yaris here in PR with with tint on headlights and tailights and it's looks really great... This one is from cardomain.com, but the guy is from PR.

Smoked Glass bottle anyone? I was tryin out the niteshade paint and i notice that its a really really really dark maroon colour not black transparent.
Errr do i really have to remove the taillights and spray em? cant i just spray em while they are still on the car?... |

I think is better to remove them. I think I saw here a "How to" about remove tail lights. Maybe Chris can show you. But in my opinion, yes , is too dark, don't take the risk to loose your tail lights.

REMOVE THEM!
Inside the hatch, there are two small side vent looking pannels on each side, remove them. You will now see the back of the tail lights.. this is how you would change the bulbs when needed. Take a 10mm socket or box wrench, and remove the TWO nuts. Easy. Take a tug back on the tail light, and it will slip right out. Disconnect plug, and its completely removed. |

By the way nice car Yaris_PR...looks good with the wheels and smoked tails.
15$ each tail light is a good price...I would'nt pay 70$ for films without installation. I paid 150$ to get all my windows tinted on my hatch...so i'll try to call the same guy tommorow to see how much he would charge me for smoking the tails |

Since I can't find any place where I can buy smoked film for taillights here, I've decided to contact Lamin-x.
The guy at Lamin-x, Chris, gave me good info on how to take the measurements. With these measurements he will then provide me with the best quote possible for an uncut/Bulk film that will fit correctly. Here's a link where you can see a gallery of their products installed: http://www.lamin-x.com/showcase.php What do you think I should go for?? Smoke or Charcoal (darker) ?? |

Well I would prefer the film because it can easily be removed.
At Lamin-x, Chris there can sell me two 20" x 15" sheets for $54.95 (normally $64.95) plus $6.95 for shipping. I'll see what I'll do...I'm still looking at all the options avaible...then I'll decide. |
