Well I must admit my car sucks in the rain. Since we had isolated rain downpours. The south end of the track was wet and the northend was dry. Went sidways twice looped it once in the rain and once in the dry at the end of the strait. My car feels fairly well balanced overall. Aside from my driving and slowing down when its wet (which felt really slow almost too slow) is there anythig I can do to improve the wet performance. No pics so far my crew was afraid of the rain.

How did you compare to the other cars? Were there two groups like last time? did you get more track time? What tires and sizes are you running? Too bad I couldn't join you.

Still faster than most in the novice class. I would say I had 2 hours on the track. No major time delays this time. So I felt good with what time I had. I am running 195/50/15 Falken 912's for now. There about 100 a tire taxes, installed and balanced.

I'm considering the Cayuga date but it's a long-shot.

Any interest in Sept 6th at Mosport DDT ??
Rember guys this is NOT racing its LAPPING. There are two classes NOVICE and EXPERT. There is NO PASSING until the slower car indicates its OK to pass and you are free to drive the speed that you are comfortable with. On top of that its a great place to see what normal street cars and average drivers can or cannot do. One more thing if you are not interested in the lapping maybe we can just meet up and visit and talk cars. Thanks Soloecho2 Last edited by soloecho2; 08-08-2009 at 09:22 AM. |
