I have these two giant gaping holes in the front end which leads to a clear shot of the wheels and brakes. All that air going there cools them off really nicely. Now no more overheating. On my stock front end, all I had to do was take out those black covers (on the RS the fog lights) and take out the wheel liner.
You removed the complete wheel liner? Don't you worry about dirt and water getting into the engine bay?

I just bought 10ft. of RV sewer hose and was going to duct air from the fog light inserts to the brakes like Loren did.

Have any pictures of the process you'd care to share?

Let me find Loren's pictures and Largeorangefont's pictures. I'm just going to copy their setups.

Edit: Ok, here's the original thread. Good pictures to give you an idea of how to do it.

Snow, dirt, water everything gets inside. Well, sorta.
It started out with the wheel liner intact, but a couple of well placed cones took care of that. LOL.

My older cars (pre 1980) didn't have plastic liners in them, so I have no worries. It's more the hole in my hood where rain gets into my engine that I worry about.
:)
