I've never had a problem in my sedan. I sit back far from the wheel. Are you people crowded in close to the wheel (Nascar style) thus striking the center hub accidentally?

no, but i am kinda short (4'10) so my seat needs to be a little close, although i keep the seat back leaned quite a bit back.. i dont have the issue frequently, but on occasion i have done it.. even after 2.5 yrs of ownership....
