$20 fills my tank for one week's worth of driving to work and back home. I think that's amazing since I was paying $35+ a week driving my old car.

Loving the Yaris for the small tank and great gas milage.

As for the resale value of the Yaris, I won't be selling my Yaris, so there is little concern about resale value to me. I'm going to drive this car till it falls apart.

Resale value is the farthest thing in my mind. When I was younger & living at home, I bought a brand-new car every 6 to 12 months. Now that I'm older with a mortgage to pay on my own (no husband), I drive them until they start giving me a lot of trouble. I traded in a 13 year old Cavalier with 108,000 miles on it to buy my Yaris in June.
