![]() Just used my fingernails. It was cold outside too. I think that since it was cold, there was no residue for me to scratch off. It came off nice and clean!

Ever thought about removing the rear bumper protector? I want to take mine off but am afraid of doing damage.

It wont do any damage, its just held with double sided tape.
You could lightly heat the entire area up, then slowly peel it back. Id actually like to add one to my LB. |

it comes off the same way. you need to get some good 3m tape to reinstall. use the search cause chris explains it very well. off topic check out the gta meet thread and sign up!!

Hello; I'm brand new, just bought my Yaris liftback 2 days ago & discovered this site now...
The first thing I did was debadge the rear... thought I was weird until I saw this site...I'm not alone! Anyways, I just spray WD-40 along the top of the badge, (hold a rag underneath to catch drips) wait 5 minutes & peel off slowly with fingernails. Clean surface & apply NuVinyl "wax" coating. Simple beauty... PS -- years ago, I did this to my Honda Accord as it sat outside & wasn't the best neighborhood. An asian gang was boosting Toyotas & Hondas for the "chop shop". If anyone I didn't know asked "What kind of car is it?", I'd answer "Ford Tempo". If this situation arises with my new Yaris, I think I'll answer "Chevy Aveo". |
