I'm not talking about a Boxter or Cayman...

Talking about their high end models...

Something like GT3 RS $200 I doubt it. but I could be wrong.

At first I was in awe of the R35 GTR's, but now with people having issues with the transmissions I'm beginning to become skeptical. In order to do the 1/4 mile and 0-60 in the times that Nissan advertised ( 0-60 3.4 sec, and 11.4 1/4 mile I'm pretty sure) you have to turn VDC (traction control) to use the Launch control feature, BUT by turning off the VDC you void the warranty. Some guy apparently used launch control a few times, and now his tranny blew up (the black box recorded VDC being off) . Nissan wants 20K for a new tranny haha. I understand not abusing the launch control feature, but come on. Nissan shouldn't have let EVERY publication brag about the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times if you can't achieve those times without voiding the warranty. Classic Nissan service, on a car that costs $70,000-80,000 is unacceptable. Here's the link, http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=25361 and a funny photoshop I found in that thread

Porsche stopped building the Carrera GT three model years ago and virtually every one was sold before they arrived at the dealerships.

At which Porsche dealership are you seeing these cars?

Not to give you any grief but the Shelby GT500 "Super Snake" does 0–60-mph in 4.4sec and 1/4 mile in 12.5sec at 120mph. Just saying there are mustangs that are as fast in straightline performance. I'll give the corvette the edge in the turns unless it goes against the Boy Racer. And theres custom mustangs that can pull 9sec 1/4 mile times for less then 10K. It's good that you:

Sadly, ALL of them use junk, sub-standard components and therefore aren't well made, reliable cars.

knew I was taking a gamble when I bought the car. I lost the bet; that's all
But if you could agree with me that europeans make the best sports cars then I think we can go about our days. Besides we both own a Yaris and we know why.

PS: I dislike people who buy their performance instead of building it because it's not realy yours unless you used your two hands to make it.
PSS: I'm mustang bias because I used to have a 12sec 92GT and a 05 V6.
PSSS: For you in Canada you know what I'm talking about or atleast your reviewers do because of the Mustang being named Canadian Car of the Year. The Canadians get it, I love Canada.

Saw a red one on the road this past weekend. Looks nice, but I still prefer the looks of the R34. Why the hell would they give you an easy access switch to make the car faster when pushing that switch automatically voids the warranty if something goes wrong? They should have hidden that switch and put a sticker on it warning drivers that flipping the switch will void the trans warranty. And wtf were Nissan thinking not engineering a bulletproof transmission for their most powerful/expensive vehicle? lose money.
