You should be accountable for your own vote and agencies like ACORN shouldn't even exist.

This is NOT an attack on you... I just hope your vote isn't lost before the election.
I don't think it's a question of being lazy. I already read someone post on here about waiting hours in line to vote...if anything, that will just discourage others from voting (the same groups people try to encourage to vote every election). Absenetee voting is great because more people are willing to do it if it doesn't interfere with their schedule.

Absentee reasons also relate to your State Laws. Depends on your situation and your state voting laws. http://employmentlawpost.com/theword...-state-survey/

I'm pretty sure we've exhausted all political arguments both for and against Republicans, Democrats, Independents, McCain, Obama, Barr, Bush, blah blah... nobody cares. If someone hasn't made a decision by now, they haven't been following politics and probably won't be voting. As kcalb said, this thread is just to encourage people to get educated and vote. This is not a thread to educate people on the candidates. If you wanna talk politics, you should just create your own threads that are appropriately titled.

Also...

PLEASE DON'T FEED THE TROLLS

Speaking of voting, isn't voting in this country supposed to be anonymous?, as in, if you don't want to you don't have to tell anybody who you voted for. Because my husband voted monday and on tuesday he got a call from the democrat's party asking who he had voted for I see that as unethical, but isn't it also illegal?

it's not illegal for someone to ask who you voted for. You don't have to tell them though.
