There are plenty of relatively lightweight 17's out there as well.

All BBS wheels are relatively light, as are OZ wheels. You just have to look around.

so question. i don't know much about wheels, actually i know nothing. i know what spacers r, but does this really help with not having the wheel rub? just a question, and does anyone have a pic of what rolling a fender means?

Spacers will help the inside of the wheel not rub in corners. Basically they will increase the positive offset of the wheels.

Does anybody know if +35 offset wheels would be okay for the Yaris. More specifically, 14x5 +35 wheels.

it'll probably fit...you might need a spacer for the front because it might rub the caliper, but test fit it.

the back is more than fine...you'll actually probably need to get a 10mm spacer to fillin the wheel well

Weight.

The +45 wheels weigh about 1/4 lb more for each wheel.

The 15x5.5's weigh almost 1 lb more.

I'm not going to race the car, and I believe I can find a set of tires that will handle well enough for me.

Oh, plus there is nothing wrong with 4 wheel drifts.

You mean decrease positive offset.

And also i hope they bring some Halo Rings for the heatlights and few cool taillights. no doubt bout that, the tailights isnt sexy.

What's the difference between 18x7 and 18x7.5
Is it a big differences?

1: I'm new to this so I can it plain and simple, which size will not reduce the performance out of the Yaris HB?

2: And if there is a way to put the biggest rims on and doing something to fix the issue about the wheels touching what in the where of the car, what will it be and cost? is it worth it tho?

you can fit 18x7.5 with a 45 offset running a 215 40 18 wheel.

you might have to cut or roll the fender as well as heat gun the front plastic molding where it'll probably hit when you turn the wheel to the max.

in all it should not cost you more than 100 bucks to do all of that. the fender rolling should be around 50 bucks and you can just buy a heat gun, use it, and return it :)

so for the wheels i can fit 18x7.5 with 4x100 should be what I'm looking for? well then again the wheels gets heavier..16,17 looks more right...

im really on the fence with this one

on the one hand, our cars come with so little power, that every bit of weight you can save especially unsprung weight will go a ways to increase or maintain the performance. on the other hand, if i wanted a real performance vehicle, im not sure i would have ended up with a yaris.

actually i guess im not really on the fence, with my heavy 16" TRD rims. all show, no go.

As for finding weight, go to your favorite search engine and type the name of the wheel followed by the word "weight." Usually something will pop up.

I found that Volk Ce28Ns 15x7 should weigh about 9 lbs.

For tires, tirerack.com is a pretty good place to look. Most of the tires have user surveys. Also, Car&Driver did a tire review you can find here.

It comes down to why you bought the vehicle. I bought it to be my daily driver, and for the gas mileage. I plan on making it as light as possible so that I can get the best mpg I can. Every pound counts when it comes to weight.

why? - looks like you're willing to drop alot on buying light wheels.... why not look into the TE37 Magnesium forged or other Ray's Magnesium wheels ;)
