I've driven stick for 22 years now, while I enjoy the control and power it gives, for the Yaris I went with an auto - it's going to mainly be my work car and I'm sick of driving stick in L.A. traffic!
 Now I can take a nap in traffic..  My off-road truck though is still stick

test the car I'm starting to think I should have gotten auto sounds better but then I like that sound
