So no need to create a relay wiring? I mean, how do u figure out if the horn youre purchasing doesnt exceed the 10A fuse limit? Its not advisable to "upgrade" a fuse to a higher rating either--that can be costly if ever.
If i purchase any horn (except airhorns or ones with compressors), can i just bolt it right up without blowingup that 10A fuse every now and then? Thanks! |

I dunno about the others but the Toyota Premium Horn is rated 10A, even with the dual horns.
After all this time, still working great and no problems whatsoever. I love using it whenever I need it and as much as I can. |

PIAA sells a dual horn via Advanced Auto or Auto Zone. Can't remember which. They also offer a relay for a couple of bucks. You can watch a video on YouTube which shows it's pretty easy to install.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up with bosch ec9s. 10A rating for both so i just bought 1 male connector (for the oem plug so no splicing or cutting) then 4 female for the horn terminals, 2 butt connectors for the ground and some shrinktubes. Looks exactly the same as those oem premium horns. :) best guess sounds like 'em too. :)

I just wanted to say Thank You! I just used that tutorial to change my headlight bulb on my 2007 Yaris Hatch Back.
As I write this it is rainy and in the 30's and I do not have a garage. Glad I did not have to remove my whole Bumbper Cover and lay on cold wet pavement. |
