I have to ammend my entry.....this morning I could not shift into 2nd, 4th or reverse! I brought it to the dealership and somehow the clip that holds the shift cable to the transmission fell off. Kind of odd, but nothing serious. They replaced the clip and I was on my way in 15 minutes.
I'm up to 1450 miles now and got 38 MPG on last tank. :) |

At over 85,000 miles now. Averaging almost 29,000 miles a year.
NO problems, NO repairs. Getting ready for a 2,000 mile road trip (round trip) in 2 weeks from Mass to Tennessee and back. I plan on changing the original serpentine belt as it is showing cracks. Don't want to run into any problems along the trip. Car is still unmistakable from a new car. |

LB Grey/metallic 70,500 miles Problems - none mechanical. Had a TSB performed for ventilation smell; replacing an exhaust manifold thingy improved it. Replaced tires at 42,000 miles, beginning to worry about brake pads wearing out (lower pedal). |

2007 Yaris S
Flint Mica 64000 miles - Replaced tires @ 43k miles - Replaced stock front rotors and pads @ 64k miles with premium rotors and pads (Rotors started to rust along the edge and scored my brake pads) - I feel the body/paint is too cheap to handle highway conditions. - Yaris needs lubrication on bushings/steering to have a quiet ride - May decide to replace stock struts - Stock rims too cheap/warp/dent easily. Replaced all 4 @ 50k miles - Steering rack has some noise, not ready for replacement yet. |
